Thinning Lines

Here it is: This is all that there is left to do: tear out your page, turn it over, and DIY from here. The original side is there, just another dimension, but always part of you. The lines are faded and it’s only partially colored but confusingly overworked. Maybe others have lines so black and boldened that you can feel them raised like microscopic dams on the page. Potentially editable but mostly reliable, holding in each color that they fill in with sureness, a clarity of an image that is defined. Maybe others fit so well within their predesigned lines, flipping the page is an idea that never needs to enter the mind. But you - You live on enigmatic planes, effable and thinning lines, a design that you will be given, erase, crumple, flip, recreate. Turn your page over and start new now, and one day, you will hold it up in the light and see the all layers. Is it messy or imperfectly captivating?
