Deep Fuzzy Memory

And I play this particular fuzzy track in my mind on a dampened repeat. The channels created by its’ humming vibration cut deep through all reasoning, repeating, shaking until its’ pattern shows itself. It designs itself with deep chasms of a tightly crumpled paper ball, something throws me that ball every time I think we hear the intro to the song again. Yet, I realize that I’ve never heard that song again the same way, not like I heard it that one time. Everything after that has simply been an auditory illusion, playing a version that I think I can remember, but never get right. The song is different, it’s becoming fuzzier, it turns into another song, I loosen the paper a little more.
